Download flowkey – Learn Piano 2.32.0 for iPhone/iPad by flowkey GmbH directly from Apple Appstore. This app version requires iOS 4+ to be able to install and run.
I have been using flowkey daily for a month and am so pleased with how quickly I am grasping learning the piano and reading notes. As of today there is a weird glitch where the exercises will not load. It will play for half a bar and then go back to the beginning of the exercise. I am hoping this is just a bug and they fix it in the app soon.
Hi! Can we add some Chrisitian songs? It’s a great app but I barely can find any popular songs like Chris Tomlin or Phil wickhem. It would be awesome if we put an extra genre. Then I will definitely consider buy the membership! Thank you!
It doesn’t pick up the notes from my piano, I have to click the key a few times so it can pick up. And I have tried turning the volume up. But overall this app is ok.
You should have a section of flash cards Should have a wider selection of songs A person should teach music theory
At first I didn’t know how flowkey even worked. But I soon found the lesson courses and now after my other piano lessons I always play on this app. Thank you flowkey.
Great for learning piano, but the glitches and stuttering involved with the sheet music on lessons add unnecessary difficulty for beginners. Considering you have to pay 10 bucks a month, these issues shouldn’t exist. Current issues: Stuttering sheet music when trying to keep rhythm Actual lagging or jumping around of sheet music during rhythm training Both hands playing during right hand training, right hand during left hand, then left hand during both hand training. Makes it very difficult to play with the instructor. All of this to be said that the app is actually great with good lessons and music library, but the glitches hurt the training a lot.
Brand new to piano. I’ve been using this for a couple months and love the app structure and breakdown of it all. Where I see an issue is the ‘wait to play’ mode. There are select notes that it simply doesn’t register (connection between my keyboard and iPad or not). This makes it difficult to play through/learn the songs. Customer service was prompt in trying to help but no resolution to the issue.
This app is amazing! You can repeat lessons as many times as possible, the selection of songs is very nice, and it is very interactive and functional. However, it costs a little I’ve one hundred dollars per year; about ten per month. I believe the cost is worth it, but there might be similar apps with lower prices. Either way, this app is very helpful for beginners or learning a particular song step by step.
I used this to help someone learn more about piano, she already knows how to play and every time we played the correct not it wouldn’t work at all, ew
This is the best piano app I have ever tried. It’s truly that great. Whether you were trained classically with the piano, or have been recently introduced to it, this app will proved you with a way of discovering new pieces that might have been more difficult otherwise. If you’re just getting back into playing the piano, this app has fantastic ways of reminding you how to read sheet music. For those who are accustomed to reading from traditional sheet music, I beseech you to give this more modern take the fare opportunity it deserves.
