The app is advertised as supporting Wallet yet I can’t add my Magic Key making park entry, dining and merchandise discounts incredibly difficult and cumbersome to use.
Please make it easier to set up parameters and filters so one can easier find a specific type of item. You need a button that will allow you go to a list of items that match what filters you have programmed
Have you heard of the Kiss syndrome? K. Keep I. It S. Simple S. Stupid This is not simple! To many areas to venture to, this will stress many people out. I do t see how any of this is going to be enjoyable. But, I going to give it a try.
I’m not sure if all the changes that have been made since COVID have contributed to product teams rushing parts of this application to market, but I find some of it’s new services to confusing, and I’m a tech founder of a mobile app based product. Reserving park tickets was a confusing user journey between native app and web app that I eventually figured out. I have heard this from multiple people. Then, Linking tickets was failing and didn’t find out except through other channels that it can only be done 5 days out. That’s fine. But instead of issuing an error code, could it at least state this? We just signed up for Disney Genie and then went through the process of selecting rides for the day and upon completion don’t seem to understand what the point was. Was something reserved? Does that prioritize us for a spot somewhere? What is the point? Genie is something in general that, even having read about multiple times, and check out in the app, still couldn’t explain to someone else. I’m guessing all if this will be more clear at the park which has been the case in the past. I love Disneyland. Parts of this application are still great. It’s a complex application with a lot of layers and data sources that general does a very incredible job when considering all that it does. Just think some of the recent additions have not lined up with past parts of the product.
Can’t link my ticket to my account because it keeps getting confused with my Wife’s and there are NO clear trouble shooting steps in place!
This app is not intuitive as a matter of fact, I am typing this and no words are appearing on my screen. Old app was better.
I have been waiting overtime an hour and still waiting so I am giving up and trying later I guess.
There are always problems with the Disney App while at the theme parks. It’s very frustrating because everything is connected to the app.
I have been trying for 2 days to set up the free genie service for my trip but it keeps telling me to try again later
