Download RoboKiller: Block Spam Calls 5.7.21 for iPhone/iPad by TelTech Systems directly from Apple Appstore. This app version requires iOS 4+ to be able to install and run.
Robocop has prevented my number from being scammed and warned me of potential bad websites. Great app.
This app does everything it advertises. I don’t have to worry about spam calls. It blocks spam text messages. The only problem I have is that I have an iPad that I use iMessage on as frequently as my iPhone. My iPhone gets those spam texts filtered out but not on my iPad. When I tried downloading the app on my iPad it interfered with my iPhone app so I had to delete it. You need a plan that can work on multiple devices or a family plan.
This app was designed to help out, as the Age of the Scam Artists shows no sign of being over. RoboKiller allows me to pause when I need to do that. It also records any phone numbers not on my known callers list. Finally you have made it easy to block known scammers. Thank you!
Why are all voicemail going to Robo not my carrier?
This is the best app since sliced bread!
I love all of the RoboKiller features, but I would love to be able to manually add phone numbers. This morning I had a text message that was a fraud attempt, asking me to call one of two phone numbers. It would have been nice to have been able to have reported them as a scam.
Suddenly, they added voicemail to my account. I don’t want voicemail, AT ALL. There should be an opt-out. Cancelled the service altogether. Guess it’s time to find a new spam blocker.
RoboKiller is blocking too many legitimate calls. May be good for a personal phone but useless for a business line. App is costing me business so I am uninstalling and canceling my membership.
Unless the caller is in your contact list, there is a good chance the app won’t even alert you that you’ve been called or that person left you a voice mail. It’s so unreliable I have had to turn it off and now I get more phone spam than ever! I’ve been an RK user for a few years and it used to be a tight app that did simple job of intercepting known spam calls and local number schemes and allowed you to add custom blocks as well. You could also record custom outgoing messages. Since then the app has become so bloated with call screening and for some reason a separate voicemail service. Quite often the app doesn’t work right so calls that should be screened fall into the void along with their voicemails. I have missed so many important calls simply because the caller was not in my contacts because the app failed in some way. I have had to disable it.
