Welcome to Reddit, the heart of the internet. Reddit is a social network with something for everyone: trending topics, diverse discussions, and engaging communities. Redditors have authentic and interesting conversations around all sorts of curated content. Reddit has over 100,000 online communities (forums where members post and comment) dedicated to specific topics. Some of the most popular communities are: * r/AskReddit, where users can ask and answer questions * r/funny, which is full of humorous content * r/science, for scientific discussions and news * r/gifs, with funny animated gifs for your viewing pleasure On Reddit you’ll find: Thousands of community groups Breaking news, social media trends, sports highlights, TV fan theories, open AI discussions and personalized content, there's a community for everyone. Some communities require karma to post or comment, which helps prevent spam or low-quality content. This is better :-D
  • 3rd party greed!

    By Seederbird
Reddit executives grimy little fingers are taking away the only thing that makes Reddit usable. Eat my dust pal!
  • One of the worst apps for the platform

    By Dissatisfied_in_CO
This is easily one of the least usable apps for Reddit; significantly worse than Apollo, BaconReader, or Narwal. It’s got fewer features and far fewer customization options. Still I installed and used it for years because I wanted to support Reddit, only switching to other apps when necessary… which was far too often.
I’m not against Reddit making money. But killing off the other apps to make this the only one via exorbitant API pricing is not the way to do it. I’ve uninstalled the official app, and when the other apps cease to work due to the new pricing… I’ll quit using Reddit.
  • Why does the app reset every time I navigate away?

    By lep4life
Really annoying to have to navigate back every time I switch from the app. Maybe if you paid $20 million to yourself, you’d know how to code your own app properly.
  • Reddit going to war with users and mods

    By hipdjiang
This. App. Stinks. But Reddit wants to “Twitter Up” Reddit and make it terrible for the users and mods by forcing everyone to use this very terrible app, relative to the many delightful apps available to use. Reddit was different, was supposed to be about users and mods, very unfortunate they have decided it is about something else.
  • Support the boycott / blackout

    By LYPX1
Unless you’re ready to see endless ads disguised to look like posts, and you’re ready for moderation in your favorite subreddits to become virtually nonexistent, then download this app and give it a high review.
Me? I’m not about to watch people who spent countless hours keeping subreddits clean and friendly have to pay up millions of dollars just to continue making Reddit a better place for its users.
I advise all of you all to follow suit with your favorite communities within Reddit, and support the boycott. If you don’t, the platform will most likely die.
If you want that, leave a 5-star review and watch everything here slowly fade away.

  • Worst Reddit Client

    By freetoremix
This, the official Reddit client, is by and large the worst user experience of any options on the market.
This app is littered with ads, stifles visibility of community discussions, is completely inaccessible to those with vision problems, while providing the least customization of experience of any Reddit client available.
To make matters worse, Reddit is planning to implement API changes that will kill off all 3rd Party Reddit apps, making this “official” app the only option.
As a member of Reddit for 12 years, if Reddit follows through with their announced changes, I will not be using this app — I will be leaving Reddit.
  • Literally any other app is a better way to use Reddit

    By RockPasta
The only reason you will install this is because Reddit intentionally broke browser links on mobile. So either you have to copy paste urls into other apps or just install this.
Now they’ll be changing api pricing to break other apps? No thanks. Get stuffed.
  • Third party apps BEGON apparently

    By ngtgmna
I personally don’t use third party apps but I will if they do go on with this policy change. So many bots will run rampant if this goes on as its easier for mods to moderate with third party apps. If this change stops, I will change my review to something positive. But for now, no Reddit for me
