Mutual is the largest and fastest growing dating app for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS/Mormon)! Mutual is a place where single members of the Church can make meaningful connections that lead to real dating. The app was created by BYU grads who know how difficult it can be to meet others with similar interests, beliefs and standards, especially outside of Provo. Mutual offers features that help you get to know other singles beyond their profile photos, by highlighting information such as mission location and interests you share in common with potential matches. The Mutual team is committed to upholding the standards of our faith, and making Mutual a genuine and safe place you can trust. All profiles get reviewed before entering our community. Users are encouraged to verify their profiles before meeting in person to ensure they are who they claim to be. We also make it easy to report inappropriate behavior in the app, to maintain a positive environment for everyone. In the words of Brigham Young, "This is the place." MUTUAL UP - MORE FEATURES Upgrade to Mutual Up for access to exclusive new features, including: See Who Likes Me to see who has already swiped up on you, Profile Boost to be seen more often and match faster, Ward Hop to change your location and match around the world, Unlimited Double Takes to undo past swipes, Ninja Mode to go invisible to everyone except people you swipe up on, More Filters to filter by height, and Daily Notes to stand out and increase your chance of matching. ------------------- Mutual is free to use, but if you choose to purchase Mutual Up, payment will be charged to your iTunes account, and your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. • Location?

    By I'm lovin it101
So the app is decent overall. Can be slow and glitchy sometimes but not bad. However, the thing the annoys me is the location situation we’ve got going on. If I set my distance to 20 miles, I still get people 50+ away from me. It’s annoying. I’d rather the app tell me I’m out of people to swipe on with the current distance. People from completely different states show up so there should be an option to turn that off or actually let the distance preference work 🙃
  • GET RID OF NON ACTIVE “accounts”

    By Noizyboy10
I’m tired of these non active accounts! Get rid of them!!!! PLEASE!!!! There’s so many that need to be canned! I match with people and they don’t even message back for months or never!
I’m not talking about church active, I mean app active, (using the app). If they haven’t used the app for a long period of time, their account needs to be pulled and temporary deactivated.
  • Navigation is hard

    By Jana Lenon
Perhaps because I’m using the free version, but I find it hard to see people or look at profiles and you can’t go back. Frustrating.
  • Biased

    Homophobic and biased.

  • Area management

I like the app but the only thing I don’t like is it shows me people from out of state. I wish you would only show me singles in my area. I also pay for premium but yet I still have to pay more money for sending notes to people I get a limited amount of notes. Almost every day I get on to check out who checked me out. Nothing from no one. I have better luck finding someone through facebook. I don’t even like Facebook. At least they have people on there site.
  • My preferred method of dating.

I’m a big fan of Mutual even if most conversations on this app are ubiquitously small talk. A sincere lack of philosophical spuds.
  • Forced decisions

    By Openlanguages
This app is novel, but being forced to redeem or to condemn on face value is over the top. There should be a third option -to park for later decision.
Also, if you ‘like’ someone, and it is a match, you are once again forced to write a message. If you could park matches to address later, the flow if this app would improve.
I am not a fan yet. Feels too rigid according to this algorithm.
  • Great but lacking features.

I would like to see who your past likes are so you could send them a message when you get one. I know you are trying to get money but those prices are sky high.
  • We found love

    By Sam Weenig
We hate to say it… but we met on mutual. Spencer and I were both attending USU and during Covid both decided to download mutual, we matched at first but the conversation quickly dried out.
We both ended up deleting mutual but then a few months later downloaded it again. We matched! Then after only 2 messages I asked for his number and gave him a call. We ended up talking on the phone for 2 hours on my drive home from USU. After two weeks of FaceTime and texts (because of thanksgiving break) we finally met.
After getting engaged in Hawaii April 2021 we were married in Midway Utah July 16, 2021
