  • Other free options out there.

Other free options out there. Too many subscription apps out there. Getting tired of having to subscribe to every little thing I need to do in my life. I used to love this app. But not when the whole thing is subscription based.
  • Why?

    By kittenlover8128
I loved using this app for everyday budgeting and for future bills that I forget to pay. But why? Why make it a subscription based product now? I do not see any need to have a subscription to an app that just tells me how much money I have and the bills coming up. I have switched to just using my phone’s calendar app to set reminders and I went back to using excel to track spending. Also the only three transactions per day thing is just dumb. Very disappointed.
  • Great app. Needs improvement

    By sailormoon5683
I love the app and have been using it since 2019 and have referred it to other people many times. I like the ability to change categories and it auto refills them after a while based on the entries. I am not sure why the balance no longer matches what i see in my bank account (i tried to keep up and to do checks/balances) and have gone back to the beginning too but i can find the “missing” entries anymore. the fact that some paycheck entries do not show the cents bothers me still even though i was told it’s being accounted for.
I tried to add multiple years and divide it up after but the starting balance can only be set for the current date and not a date in the past :( would be nice to have yearly calendars if you are paying foe the pro version.
I like it overall and it keeps me organized. Looking forward to more updates though.
  • Day to day working total

I love to see my day to day standing with our income. No more overdrafting because you think you have enough. I love the visual of the whole month and how our money fits into it. Excellent app!
  • Not bad.

Update as of 6/17/21: Still cannot edit or delete categories.
Finally spoke to someone a lot nicer than whoever responds to these reviews and got all but one issue figured out. Will give it 4 stars because I still can’t delete or edit a category.
  • Preferred classic’s UI, hate the auto-category

    By AppWatch456
Still prefer classic UI. new (current) version still sometimes has issues with auto-category. It’s faster now but sometimes still undoes what I manually clicked and makes it uncategorized.
Also don’t like that it doesn’t let me scroll ahead to future months. I scroll forward and it jumps back to the current month. Would like to be able to log future potential expenses so I don’t forget later.
Only still using and paying because I haven’t found a similar app that’s just simply putting your expenses in.
  • Would be amazing if it worked.

I keep having glitches where I go to say... September, and see one balance, then it changes to another. Some payment, recurring bill,or income completely throws off its calculations and shows incorrect balances... Currently a discrepancy of $1,342 over 2 months. Absolutely not acceptable. I've corrected two of these glitches be removing and free adding a recurring bill twice already and I'm still in the two week TRIAL period. C'mon. I can't pay $40 for something that's going to wreck my family finances if I follow it.
  • 😤

I've used Dollarbird since 2013.. and I will begrudgingly continue to do so since there is no other app quite like it.
But I hope the developers all get hemorrhoids.
  • Disappointing

    By Mjulnozhk
They moved to a pay every year subscription based model. Used to be free. I would have gladly paid 5$ for basic functionality. They have all these features to share wallets and budget but I have no use for them. And the worst is they collect your data and upload to the cloud. This data shouldn't even leave my phone. If it's free, I expect to be data analyzed. But now that it isn't, there's no option for any. They want to milk the $ Out of it. Instead of offering something worth payments in addition to spending data, they crapped out and paywalled us. I'm just gonna Dev my own app since nothing else simple exists for free. A calendar with recurring math is not difficult.
