I am so happy with this recipe app. Can access on my phone or computer. So easy to add recipes from my computer. have not tried on my phone
Recipe Keeper is so easy to use. It loads the recipe directly from the URL, adds pictures, and allows you to customize. And, of course, it credits the author. My recipe collection is growing and staying organized at the same time.
100% worth paying $10 for the full version. Now I can type up my recipes and import them from websites - so now only one go to spot for everything I want! I don't have to scroll through my pinterest, or pull out a cookbook. And I love that you can add categories and collections, and that you can search for what recipe you want. I also love that I can pull it up on my phone, my macbook, or even my iPad! It makes it so convenient. I am so happy I found this app!!!!
I rarely fork out the money for paid apps, but I did so for this app without any hesitation. It is sooo much easier to use than my other recipe app! I can use it across all my devices, so if I get a recipe on my computer I can access it on my phone or iPad. It easily transfers recipes from websites or photos. It re-sizes amounts according to how much ingredients I have or want to make. There is nothing this app can't do that I would need it to do. Great job on a well-designed app!! LOVE IT!!!!
I'm constantly amazed at how Recipe Keeper can accurately import recipes from just about anything on the Internet. It doesn't matter what the original source is - cooking website, food article, healthy eating story - as Recipe Keeper somehow knows exactly what to do. Recipe Keeper's import capability never ceases to amaze me!
I have tried a lot of recipe apps. This is absolutelu the best - easy to use, easy to share recipes and is a part of my daily routine.
This was the perfect app to use for meal planning and for storing recipies for my food blog. It was great but I've had trouble syncing devices and turns out I am not the only one- based on the reviews here. I wish it was more clear that you would have to purchase the app again to use on a different device. App would be great, but be careful and choose which device you want the app on. I did it on my phone first, but I should have done it on my computer. Overall, get it on the device you use the most and you'll be fine.
I have been uploading many family recipes, and have been enjoying using this app to organize my recipes. Love the ability to download right from a website and not having all the excess papers laying around. I am occuring 1 problem, when I scan in some recipes and rotate them in Preview, then I upload the modified recipe to Recipe Keeper, it loads in as the orgigonal view and I am unable to save it. There should be a feature to rotate on the app itself .
Importing recipes from websites is amazing and works 99% of the time. And the way you can copy recipes from cook books or magazines is pretty easy. I also love the way I can do it on my phone or laptop and it syncs across both devices.
I had recipes in multiple locations (printouts, PDFs, screenshots, books, notebooks, recipe cards). The ability to search by ingredient is so helpful finding the recipe I’m looking for! Adding new recipes from pictures, websites or PDFs is easy. The OCR technology works amazingly well. Meal planner is helpful when planning special events. Editing the recipe to your taste or adding notes is very easy (instead of sticky notes on paper or writing on the recipe). And having the recipes sync between devices is really useful. Phone is great for grocery shopping. iPad is great for adding new recipes. Laptop is great for adding recipes and when cooking. Takes some time to add your recipes (200+) in the system, but having both laptop and iPad helped. Laptop can also create a PDF of all recipes or export to another service (can be done on all devices, but easier for me to work with larger files on computer). I hesitated with the price to have on laptop, but it is so worth it. Loving this app more than I thought I would!
