    By FoodieSam8489
This app has opened my eyes to new flavors and food options while keeping my food budget down and eliminating food waste
  • love this app!

    By haileycontraza
makes cooking dinner easy and almost fun to have everything planned out. I can’t wait to try more recipes! i’ve done 3 weeks so far (9 meals) and i’ve loved them all. also, my partner and I don’t normally cook together because we can’t figure out how and these recipes make cooking together also easy and fun! loving this app!
  • Great Value, great meals, and you learn some skills

    By OmegaWeapon_01
I’ve been using the app for over 6 ish months and still love it. I like being able to pick my meals on a weekly basis and the grocery bill has shrunk drastically. One you get your base ingredients, you may only need a few extra ingredients a week. 10/10 highly recommend!
  • Cant login after sidekick update

    By JonM17
Great app but since it changed to sidekick i cant login via the app. Username and password work fine on the website. :(
    Update 20220401
Updated from 1-2 stars for support responsiveness: I was able to work with the support team contacted through the developer website. While they were really responsive they were unable to find a way to restore access to the app with my existing account. I was able to create a new account, but I did lose the recipe packs I previously had and did pay for a month of subscription, which i was unable to utilize the benefits of the app from. If anyone else has this issue my support ticket was 11522. I was also able to restore access through my original email address and provided how to the support staff. Ill look at updating the review again as I use the new app, and if support contacts me again.
  • 25 year olds that don’t know how to cook that well

    By katenater
Look my fiancée and I are 25 and we aren’t very skilled in the kitchen with dishes. I HONESTLY can say that I really love this app. We haven’t used it for long but the dishes are really good and it’s really easy. I have adhd and the way they break the recipes down so it’s manageable is great! I don’t know if I explain more about how I love it.
  • Recipes inedible. App is a mess

    By Soundtch
Tried the “Hone your skills” pack. Salmon was great. The app is a mess and there’s no iPad version but I was willing to give that a pass if the recipes were good. The second two recipes would be inedible as written. The tomato sauce called for four tablespoons of sugar! I used 2 and it was still way too sweet. Potato salad in the poached eggs were just potatoes covered in mayo.
  • Simplifies cooking AND shopping

    By Qweave Universe
I just moved in with my boyfriend, and this has made planning meals for two people so much easier. We sit down, choose a pack, and that's three dinners decided. It also caters to all sorts of skill levels, I like fiddling with packs that contain more challenging recipes, but if you are feeling lazy or are a beginner some packs consist of pretty simple and easy recipes. The closest thing to a problem is that, being a UK based app, some ingredients are hard to come by in the USA.
  • Learning to cook!

    By Jaelde
Growing up, I was only taught minimal cooking skills, such as scrambled eggs and heating tortillas on the stove.
Packs has taught me (indirectly) how to cook so much more. Learning how to time dishes so they come out together, how to cook with foods is always wonders about (like eggplant), and how to weave washing up into cooking. Overall, it’s made the kitchen a far more pleasant place to be ^_^
I’ve also started incorporating some of the recipes into our staples (my wife is crazy about the potato salad). Over the past year of using packs, our kitchen staples have altered and we’re eating out less and less.
I highly recommend trying out Packs - it’s a chance to try out things you’ve never heard of! Or in our case, things we’ve heard of but were too intimidated by (like croque Madame).
  • Fantastic!

    By tike94
This app has been amazing. My son and I have been using it every week for over a year. The variety is great, and the meals are pretty easy to cook and taste wonderful.
The instructions are easy to follow and the shopping list makes going to the store easy.
    It’s been a life changer!!

    By ThiccyDLite
This is the first time I’ve ever felt empowered in the kitchen. Simple but amazing dishes, to challenging skill checking recipes! Cannot recommend this enough! I finally got a second date thanks this!
Note: if you’re a bit childish like me, Ben says “whack it” a lot.
