I signed for the free trial to check out the app but none of the classes would play.
Been a subscriber for years and can’t get into my account on any platform. Really unfortunate.
Update: I’ve tried to give the new app a chance but it just isn’t good. When I view on iPad, which I keep in landscape with a keyboard, the app defaults to portrait and will not transition to landscape until you start a video and expand the video to fill the screen. The class filter is inconsistent. If I narrow by 10 minute classes, sometimes 7-8 minute options appear, sometimes they don’t. The music at the start of every video is totally unnecessary and to me, annoying. I miss how the old app just launched right into the video so you could get moving. I can’t speak to all the additional content because I’m not interested in it. Overall I’m still disappointed about the major change in the app. Prior review: MWH workouts are so easy to incorporate into your daily routine. I love that I can do the standing series at my kitchen counter and roll my mat out for a quick and super effective workout anywhere. The app works perfectly for me, too.
I’ve been a loyal MWH member for 3 years. I used it every single day until the new launch. The old platform was more simplistic yet it far exceeded my expectations in the value I received. I recommended it to nearly everyone in my life! While I completely understand and appreciate the effort to improve the platform and content, I feel the content has completely changed and I now it see significantly has gone in a different direction that no longer serves me. The app is no longer intuitive for me to use and the product issues and experience is no longer enjoyable to navigate. The introduction and focus on dance flows and new instructors feels random to me, and MWH is no longer a part of my daily routine. I will likely not renew my annual subscription and have moved on to implementing other Pilates apps and classes that feel more aligned to original MWH content/app experience. I will always be grateful for Melissa for introducing Pilates into my life but as a loyal customer I feel disappointed that the needs and wants of long-time users did not seem to play a part in the strategy of the new platform and where MWH is going. I would highly suggest the MWH team to implement surveys and do true customer research when it comes to the product roadmap and growth strategy of the platform in the future to prevent further churn of long-time users.
I’ve been a loyal MWH subscriber for years. The new app suddenly booted me and I couldn’t log back in. “Try again after sometime.” I have tried every single way to login- diff devices, deleted and re-added app. Nothing works. Their customer service is terrible. I have been begging for them to elevate my issue or provide a number so we can fix it without me waiting days for a reply w a response that doesn’t even work. I canceled my subscription per their advice and can’t even make a new one or log back in. It’s a disaster. And worst part is I can’t work out. I thought I missed the simplicity of the old app and the ability to just have Melissa teach, but now I just miss the app even working! How can such a successful company have such a terrible new platform and even worse tech support?! I’m so dissapointed.
I’ve had had issues with online workouts and this is easy. I don’t have any excuse now😅, even though I have two babies and feel really exhausted everyday! The short videos are helpful and I hope to keep it up. Thank you!💖💫
I have been an MWH subscriber for almost 3 years and will probably cancel this month, sadly. The new platform just has too much going on, and I lost all of my favorites with no warning when I updated. I was also locked out for a whole month with no reimbursement and the team just blamed glitches and emails not going through. I loved MWH because the workouts were tough and she was so relatable and down to earth, but I feel like all of the new videos don’t have that at-home vibe, they are always so short, use too many props (I prefer using my own body weight) and even the power flows have too many pauses and child poses mixed in. I tried doing a 24 min Kim Strother power sculpt and really didn’t feel much. There’s only one workout I’m going to truly miss- the 22 minute standing ab that she did on her deck in the summertime but at this point I can probably do most of it by memory anyway. I feel so sad but all of the changes are just not for me.
Signed my wife up for an account, paid for the year, downloaded the app aaaaaaand the app doesnt work. After login “unable to manage your response, please try after sometime”. Login works on the website. Not off to a good start!
Doesn’t support landscape mode on iPad
The new app is garbage and I have been emailing customer service because I have been over charged for my membership and I have yet to get a response or any resolution. MWH was so much better when it was just Melissa in her little studio and now they obviously don’t care about long-term customers.
