I was curious about this app and when I downloaded it I didn’t realize that I signed up and was charged the three month trial fee, it stated I could cancel anytime. I canceled and was still charged and there is no cancel subscription button in the subscription section of apple. New to apple and not very happy about it. Big pain to file a dispute with my Amex card! Unethical way to steal money from people who are just interested in getting an idea about the app.
I was not made aware up front this was a subscription app! Would never want to pay for this app
Impossible to evaluate without a trial period. Minimum subscription length is 3 months.
I’ve used My Fitness Pal for years now, but I just found this app and it’s much better. No annoying ads. Free barcode scanning. And a much prettier interface.
I was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, and this app has been a massive help in tracking for me, even as the free version! It’s been super easy to use, the interface is extremely user friendly. Only thing I would comment on is the water tracking. There’s only two options, either 8 or 16 oz intervals, which can be hard to keep track of if you’re an inconsistent drinker like I am. So perhaps implementing custom water log amounts could be beneficial?
I’ve been using Lifesum on and off for years. Ive always loved the app. Today I restored my purchase using the same information I always have and premium was not unlocked. The payment processed, but my account will not allow me premium access. I’ve reached out to support with no response.
UI is very polished and food tracking entry flow is seamless. Still testing a bit more before I decide to get Premium. Food tracking notifications don’t seem to be working though, which is a deal breaker as it doesn’t seem to be a premium feature.
I really enjoyed this app because of its aesthetic. It made tracking a fun thing to do instead of a chore. But this recent UI change is ugly. Please change it back or give us an option of changing the background image on the front page. The grainy image is just unattractive.
I’ve paid for this app for over 2 years and the most frustrating part of this app is when you add food. It defaults to recent foods. I usually eat something a little different every day… I can see why this feature is useful however in other calorie counting apps, the default setting is to just add the food instead of viewing recents. Also it’s incredibly confusing on the tabs for a new user to see what the recent tab is compared to what had been logged already. I would prefer the default to show what you have already logged it would make most sense that way. Even adding a preference to show logged food as the default screen instead of recents.
the interface is so generic and bland now compared to the fun fruit and vegetable characters thats what honest made the app enjoyable now its just clip art.
