This app is great. The display is beautiful, tracking is easy, and the designers provide encouraging quotes and phrases that help the viewers stay positive. I’ve been using the app for a few months and have had success in my weight loss journey. I’m sure upgrading to their premium subscription has its benefits but this is the only app that I’ve tried where I feel like the free version provides all of the tools you need to achieve whatever goal you are trying to reach. Highly recommend giving this app a chance!
This app is really nice, very easy to use and the interface looks great. I really have had no problems with it. Definitely out shines my fitness pal.
If you don’t mind paying 40 bucks a year for premium this is a great app. Even basic stuff like daily fiber intake requires premium. Seems like everything I click on that would be of interest to me requires premium. The current app I’m using as much more available for free pretty much everything that I want. But the interface isn’t quite as sexy which led me to take a look around. I’m staying with it.
This app is ok if you scan labels for all your food. If you prepare your own food, and want to input, say, 1/4 cup of dry oatmeal, it’s not in there. The database appears to be comprised of all the scanned data from other users but no standard amounts. So there are a lot of “oat” choices but they are weirdly random, like 1.9 ounces. Also, I’m on the Mediterranean diet and don’t appreciate getting the “frowny face” when I choose olive oil! No tracking of fiber, no vitamins, sodium, etc. I signed up for 3 months. After 4 days I wish I could get a refund. The ONLY reason I went with this was that they track less personal data than other food apps.
I really really love the app and everything it brings. I just wish there was a way to edit the starting weight. When I started I put the wrong weight and now instead of tracking my victories it just says I gained 20 lbs 😞
you literally can’t do much if you don’t have the subscription, like? what do u do? i can’t see how to make certain food or snacks…. this app is useless
I really like how you can scan and fill things in for the app. I don’t like having to count every single calorie I take in but it’s doable with this app so I think it does deserve the five star.
I’ve tried POINTS; GREENS, YELLOWS, and REDS; but when you choose to transition to “real life”, where do you really go? Those are marketing hook-and-grab-you’s FOREVER! If you want REAL weight loss, the REAL THING is CALORIES! Once you can actually see where your calories are being spent, you’ve got it made!
I’m not sure what the point of a free download is, they should just make it a purchased app. Every time I click on something or try to do something, I get a pop up advertising their subscription plans. From the reviews it sounded great and I was excited to try it, unfortunately I didn’t get far and decided to delete the app. I don’t mind buying a subscription to unlock other areas for extra tools but I couldn’t go 10 seconds on this app without being blocked by a subscription pop up.
With all of the options available, I certainly won’t spend this much money just to try this app.
