    Loved how they went over the same topics a few times. Only because the question came up during the shareholders meeting. For example the succession conversation was interesting to me to know that Berkshire Hathaway has systems in place to address that at the appropriate time.

    The narrative, the grit, the emotions, the rawness…. so many emotions.
One of the best books I have listened to.  Kudos to both the author and the narrator.  The author for creating this haunting story and the narrator for bringing it alive.  Five stars all the way!

    Roland Merullo’s series with Buddha books are favorites of mine and my husbands. And I share them with others often.  They really speak to my sensibilities. And he writes very well, with humor and to the point. If you haven’t read the Buddha books yet, start with Golfing with God. Not quite in the series, but a great beginning.

    What a raw, honest, and heartfelt story about poverty, addiction, prejudice and the difference love can make.  When I read some reviews about this story being too sad, I almost did not get it. I am glad I did.  This story IS sad, but real and hopeful.  I recommend it wholeheartedly.

    Placing five stars because it deserves it, but I can’t open the app for the past two days. I don’t know what’s going on and have tried both updating and reinstalling it, and it still stays stuck at the loading screen before crashing.

Please let me know how to fix this, I want to get back to listening to these greats stories!

    I read rather listened to this book to get get a different perspective as I also read books that state opposing opinions but the one thing that stands out is we have a problem in America that our leaders have purposely not addressed. Russia China the Middle East etc could not have been successful if we as a Americans didn’t leave the door open. We have problems still unaddressed and until those things are successful addressed we will NEVER be 1 Nation fighting together towards and for the goal of keeping us all safe and whole. What foothold would any nation have against a UNITED nation? Divided we will lose.
Class ethnicity gender & religion these have been our problems from inception and they will strangle the life from us as a nation if we do not fix them.

    There are few writers that can write so fluidly & make the reader leave everything else in their world to sink into the novel’s world. The confluence of religion, culture, family & medicine are so seamlessly intertwined, it is another masterpiece Dr V! As a family physician with roots in India, I learned a great deal about Kerala, a place I have yet to visit, but will surely see some day. Thank you!
