  • Active Call Alert Annoying

I did an update today 12/7/21 and it’s the worse ever. When on an active phone call, my watch vibrates every minute reminding me of an active call. It did not do this before the update. Who came up with that bright idea? Please fix this horrible update, I have the phone up to my ear, no need for an alert continuously. Thanks.
  • Harasses premium subscribers to let Google track their location

After Google acquired Fitbit, I worried that the tech giant so infamous for surveilling its users would abuse my tracker data. The new update to the Fitbit app shows I was right to worry. If you have restricted the app from allowing it to *continually* track your location, then EVERY time you open or switch to the app for any reason it pops up a nag window telling you to grant it those unnecessary permissions. I paid $80 for an annual subscription to Fitbit Premium and they refuse to accept my tap on the “No thanks” button. It’s rapacious harassment, and it has ruined their reputation in my eyes.
  • Non-stop Annoying Notifications to turn on location

Fitbit’s app harasses me every time I open it to turn on my location settings. Every. Time. Complete disrespect for my privacy settings and something I would expect from a shady free service (I have a premium subscription). I contacted customer service; they took forever and were not able to help me. They said they would escalate the issue and send me an email for further assistance, but this has not happened. Terrible privacy boundaries and even worse company service. I’ve seen on Fitbit help pages that people have been complaining about this for years now. So fitbit is aware of this issue, and is doing nothing to fix it. Anyone who asks about my fitbit is going to be told it’s not worth it, and that I wish I’d gone with a different fitness tracker.

What happened to the charge status of my Fitbit in your app? The status on the watch is too small for me to read. I need it in the app

How many times do I have to tell the app that I don’t want to share my location before it stops asking? Every time I open the app I get the pop up.
  • SET UP WALLET

That’s all it does. Doesn’t tell me the time; my Bitmoji stopped working, doesn’t tell me how many steps..... 6 months of “SET UP WALLET”

The most recent update took away key details— hovering in the graphs you no longer get to see the number on top with how many steps/calories for the 15 minute increment. Please bring this detail back!

Was always fine until last update. Couldn’t sync, had to uninstall and reinstall app. Finally synced… with zero data. The update is also preventing my sleep analysis from syncing.
