If I had to pay for the app, I shouldn’t have to pay for a “subscription”.
Dear Cocktail Flow Team, After downloading and using your app (3.4), I'd like to provide the following feedback: I have a bunch of cocktails in “my cocktails” list that I didn’t mark as having the liquor for So the MY cocktails list is now useless since I now have to actually check if I have the liquor.
I love finding new mixed drinks and was hoping this would be useful to see what I could make with what I have. I have about 30-40 different bottles of liquor. Only three of them were even on this app, or were in a category that they had. I’ll just find one that’s better than this.
I love this app! It has given me so many new drinks to try! It has soooo much potential to be better but considering what it is, I’m pretty happy with it. I would like there to be a strength category. Also, it would be nice if you clicked on surprise me and you didn’t like what you see, you could hit a “refresh” button to load another one instead of having to back out to the main menu and enter it again. I would also like to see different variations of these drinks. For example, the rattle snake recipe in here calls for absenthe but every rattle snake I’ve ever had does not have it. Also, the ones I have had use southern comfort and this recipe doesn’t. Minor flaws, but overall, an excellent app. Especially if you want to broaden your horizon. I know there’s other suggestions I have, but cannot think of them right now.
I love the my bar feature but the app hasn’t been updated in two years and is missing multiple types of liquors. Newer stuff like peanut butter whiskey. It would be nice to have them add more of that stuff.
I don’t mind paying for an app, I do mind paying over and over and over for it. If they had reasonable one time pricing, I would buy it.
I am such a sucker for paying for a yearly subscription. This app charges to access all but the most common cocktails and even those are sometimes not quite right. I should have seen it before, that it was fishy. Unfortunately enough people love it that they give it glowing reviews on here and meanwhile they are having their device clipboard (or other device clipboards if Handoff is enabled) scraped for sensitive data like passwords and bank account numbers, and thank goodness iOS shows a notification every time it happens.
I want to love this app. It’s missing two important features. 1. Need to be able to add cordials and flavored vodka, etc. 2. The app asks for what I have in my bar. The app should be able to tell me what drinks I could make.
Non-basic drinks behind pay for app - otherwise a great easy to use app.
Recipe for Aviation doesn’t have creme de violette because the app doesn’t recognize that liqueur. So the recipe is just maraschino, gin, and lemon, which is not an Aviation, but is GARBAGE. Mostly wants to use a limited range of branded liquors. Free to download, the first recipe I clicked on required that I pay $3.99/month or some yearly fee. I paid the $3.99 and cancelled as soon as I found out that the app is GARBAGE.
