    These guided meditations have helped me get through a lot of tough times. A consistent meditation practice was something I always aspired to have but had no idea how to achieve.  With Andy’s guidance I’ve learned different meditation techniques and can now meditate by myself unguided, but I always come back to do the different packs like loneliness, anxiety, happiness and grief, depending on what is going on in my life. I have had this app since 2017 and I absolutely love it.

    I’m on my 3rd year, and the change I’ve seen and felt within myself is like no other. Anger, anxiety, self esteem all issues I have the privilege of becoming more familiar with. You cannot address a problem you don’t acknowledge.

    A day I went on head space and ALL the medatatoins were locked even the one I use EVERY day I don’tRecommend this app it just wants you to pay for it. I ⭐️ I hate this app.

    Everything is locked behind a paywall, it’s unenjoyable and takes away from my meditation if I know I’m spending 70$ a year on this app
  • Not worth the money

    Maybe it’s good if you’re totally new to the concepts or if you have kids, but I’d recommend the Down Dog suite of apps over this any day.
  • Update is clunky

    I’ve been meditating with the app for over a year, skipping past or ignoring periodic ableism, political propaganda, and religious content that conflicts with mine. I appreciate that I can adjust session length when I need to, up to very short so I can always fit it in (at least on the dailies—many others don’t have this feature).
    But the newest update has removed the sleep button from the main menu, meaning that when you’re half asleep you have to hunt for it. And there’s no quick and easy way to switch back and forth between the day and night views. Headspace, I *already pay you* for all your content—there’s no need to shove it down my throat. I know it’s there and I’ll go look at it when I have time. Making the app experience harder and draining my brain isn’t going to make me use it more.

    It’s not very good. Most of the modules are extremely situational, there’s a lot of filler material, and there’s next to no customization. You end up spending more time searching for something that won’t annoy you than you do actually meditating.

    As a former medic & combat veteran, I am so grateful for this app. It is helping me to become more mindful, learn how to manage stress, and take small moments throughout the day to work through mindfulness exercises. I’m just two weeks, I have noticed significant improvements in my panic attacks & symptoms of PTSD.
