Used to love this game, but now I’m extremely disappointed with the way the team handles errors and glitches. The compensation has little to no use and overall I might just stop playing this game
I have been playing Covet since 2013 when the app was first introduced. They have had several glitches, the most recent lasted days. That glitch cost thousands of players cash and diamonds to save our house rally’s. Covet chose to compensate me with a useless credit for things I already own. If you valued your players you would have done the right thing by compensating with diamonds and/or in-game cash plus a HA credit. You raised the requirements for challenges, the cost of items has more than doubled, and you haven’t changed the daily bonus to compensate for the rise in cost. You have made it abundantly clear that you don’t value your players. You need give a proper compensation and make it right!
Game starts off fun, but too many glitches and they blame Facebook. Cash cow game if you haven’t been playing for at least a year with all props and hair accessories they want you to buy.
Everything in this game is getting ridiculously expensive. The rewards aren’t worth it anymore. After this Facebook glitch and the “ compensation “ we received I refuse to spend anymore money on this app. They really did us loyal members dirty. A prop pack?! We own all the prop packs. Cover got greedy and we all need to take a stand.
The game has a lot of glitches. I’m okay with the glitches. I’m not okay with the way the company has responded to the glitches. The most recent glitch caused one of the most important features in the game to be unavailable for 4 days. Many of us were in competitive rally houses and spent thousands of diamonds to be able to continue to compete and not let our fashion house down. As compensation for the glitch, covet offered us a prop pack credit. Most long term and paying players already owned all prop packs. The “gift” rewarded newer and non paying customers. It did nothing to help the most loyal and paying customers. What we needed was diamonds to restore our losses caused by the glitch. Covet does not care about our feedback. They are actively deleting all negative posts on their Facebook page and trying to conceal what happened. In addition, the prices of garments has went up substantially over the years while the cash rewards have stayed exactly the same. It’s getting harder and harder to play. I have spent almost 500 in the game and will not spend anymore unless Covet makes right their wrong.
This game is so expensive and isn’t any fun once you reach the top level. The new levels they release each month are just uglier revamps of lower level hair and makeup and makes leveling up not worth it. The game is full of glitches that don’t get addressed adequately (unless it’s a glitch in the players’ favor in which case it gets fixed immediately). There is basically zero customer support and they never properly address issues or have any customer appreciation. It gets more and more expensive each new season yet the quality of items, rewards, and new levels keep hugely decreasing. Don’t play this game - it’s designed to get you hooked and keep making micro transactions in order to do well.
DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND REAL WORLD MONEY WITH A COMPANY WHO DOESN’T VALUE THAT ASPECT OF THEIR PLAYERS. Sorry Covet, but enough is enough. You have treated your players poorly for years, but the recent “outage” and your response puts the cherry on the cake. The outage, firstly, was NOT Facebook’s fault. Multiple developers have voiced the reasoning across multiple platforms. You left your players in the dark purposely. But even worse is your response to this. The “compensation” players received is useless to a vast number of your players, and even more so to your top level players who spend real world money on the game. Those players already have all of the prop packs, and already pay for the CC pass. It’s literally zero use to them. AND the prop pack credit isn’t stackable so people actually got even less from you! PLUS the fact that some players received diamonds to “come back and play” when they are active players already. You just pour salt on wounds over and over again and it’s enough. It’s all just either bad business, which I doubt, OR the more likely answer is you don’t care about your players, and especially your money spending players.
Recently this game had some kind of issue with connecting to FB which made a major feature of the game not work properly. The game was all over the place in their messaging about it and placing blame. A lot of players lost out on a great deal of prizes and others spent a lot to play without the lost borrowing feature. They did finally fix the problem and as compensation they offered a not high value closet item and credits for a single prop pack, most of the long time, high closet value players already won all the prop packs. It's basically a slap in the face. They could have given in game currency, something everyone can use, but instead as their paltry compensation they chose something that many of us cannot use. I think it's also worth mentioning that this game has never had good tech support and has always been glitchy from the players end, they also instituted a pay to play option a while back. You can play without it, but you won't do as well.
This app has been faulty and has been stringing the players along during a period of time when the game developers were trying to fix glitches. They now are removing posts that share negative feedback
Well they “fixed the glitch” and as compensation for almost spending my account to $0… a shawl. Oh and a prop credit except I have all the props and so do the majority of players. So just a shawl for me… 4-5 days of worry about being fair to my Fashion House and we get a shawl. Sorry the complete disregard/contempt this company has for its players is staggering.
