Love your classes, especially those narrated by a woman who mirrors my feelings. Like the daily accountability too.
Noom isn’t and didn’t work for me, but the reason for 2 stars is you MUST use an iPhone app for everything. Reading, entering in data' it’s all on a tiny screen. There is no iPad or web option and it starts to make you hate the program a few weeks in.
App is easy to follow and articles are great but have been following the program exactly as instructed and not losing! Very disappointing
I have been using Noom for about a month so far, am down about 13 pounds. The daily reminders to log food and weight, the daily lessons are all good. Not too much reading, a bit on the simplistic side, but all in all they are good. But that is the good part. Negatives are the lack of personal attention. I was promised a coach for one on one attention, (I signed up for the premium program) but that never materialized. What I got were bots that sort of danced around an answer to my question with generalized responses. If I did get a response from a real person, it was from a post on their community bulletin boards, and then it took several days for the response to come. All in all, it is a good program if you are not wanting too much personal attention. If that is what you need, try WW. At least at meetings you have a real person.
I like the app for the most part. Recommendations for improvement: have a quick barcode scan option instead of having to go to ‘log a meal’; have a quick view of food analysis (breakdown of each color/calories) instead of having to go into ‘log a meal’.
Fixing app issues is extremely difficult. Day 3 and have to wait for coach to respond. They respond within 2 business days. Cannot tead articles as it reset to 101 again.
Have used Noom for a month and I’ve lost 16 pounds. Noom is a positive tool that provides so much education and insights while actively encouraging good choices without judging when you inevitably slip. I highly recommend it for folks wanting the insights and hacks to help understand and overcome behavior that becomes ingrained with modern living. Fun, never preachy, always informative and most importantly, effective….
Tomorrow will be one month since I have been on Noom and I have needed to delete and re-add the app 3 times to get the menu (which navigates the app) to reappear. When you ‘chat’ to get technical support, deleting and reading the app is all they can tell you to do. I have asked for a supervisor’s assistance only to be told one will email me and no response. I have asked for the phone number and the call fails every time the dial the number. I am so frustrated with this app!
Or give us an option when it doesn’t load. This review would be a five but because of the bug with grocery grab, I can’t finish my day. The only thing that kinda works is to delete the app and all data then re load and set it up again. If you would just allow us to skip it if it doesn’t load that would be cool. It’s really too bad because everything else is nice.
