  • Horrible customer service

Great courses but good luck if you run into any issues and try to contact their "24/7 support". If you got lucky enough to get a hold of them. They will give you blank standard answer and provide you the link of the topic so you can fingure out on your own what is the issue. unethical business practices 👎 their priority is making sure to get their hands on your money
  • Great idea. Bad execution

The mobile app doesn’t update my work completed on the web app. There are entire weeks missing on the mobile. There’s no support in troubleshooting this issue, nor is there an accessible customer support channel to resolve. Consequently, I’ve unenrolled in the multi-class course for a Google certificate and consider the $40/month a sunk cost. Great idea, but poor execution. Very disappointed in the overall experience. Edit: I keep finding more and more wrong in the mobile app. Come on guys. I can’t even click through the screen which mistakenly tells me I can “still complete Week 1”. I’ve completed up to week 3 materials according to the web app, and your mobile app won’t even let me click through. if I have to uninstall and reinstall the app for basic functionality, it should not be in the app store.
  • Failure to Load

Constant error messages, exercises that don’t load. I’m just glad it’s not for a course that I actually paid for otherwise it would be even more frustrating.
  • Crashes at the most inconvenient times

The app has a way of crashing and/or becoming unresponsive when I'm in the middle of a quiz.
  • Great Features… That Don’t Work

I enroll in a course and it doesn’t show up in the enrolled courses list. I try to reset my deadlines and it says “Cannot reset deadline. Please try again later” except no matter how many times you try again later, it shows the same message. It does not allow you to download the entire course, you have to select each individual item

Admittedly none of the problems I mentioned prevent you from taking and going through a course, but the number of features that don’t work makes it difficult to use except in the most basic ways. It’s irritating.

    I’d stick with the website.

  • Good App

I think overall coursera is a good app which just need some slight tweaking in some areas.

Security - Needs a MFA, password even though protected by captchas need to be more protected

App vs Web app - can save courses on web app to take later but not on app

Decision - to delete a course if you are no long interested in it have now become a support task not a user task.
  • Not fully functional app

Why are some features of a course, such as taking a test, only available on desktop??
  • Thé app is worthless use your laptop

Thé app doesn’t update course when you complete something. I’ve spend more time redoing the course on my laptop si that it’s marked complete after doing most of the courses in thé app. Which leaf to an extra two months i had to pay for. Save your time and money and complete it on your laptop or iPad because the app is trash and I’m disappointed I didn’t get a refund for the inconvenience.
  • Reset my course

One day I found that Coursera app has reset all my progress in one of the courses I was doing and sent me to day 0. All my progress is gone while I pay $40 each month
