Bumble: Dating & Friends App

Can’t expect too much from a dating app, and think the 24 hour wait should be reduced to 12. Also need to move where peoples locations are from the bottom to the top. I hate when I’m going through and finding someone interesting only to get all the way to the bottom and see they don’t even live in my city..

I like the concept of online dating and being able to be real and open in your profile. What I noticed is during my premium subscription I may go a week with not likes but the day my premium membership expires I literally have 45 likes in my box, but of course if I want to see any of those I need to pay and renew my subscription.  Hence the classic Corporate Predator. Remember they don’t want you to win.

Honestly , now after nearly a year of using this app I’ve decided it’s rather poor. 
It advertises its free and always will be. The only problem is you don’t get much for free. ( not surprising. “No such thing as a free lunch “) when you desire to just meet new potential friends whatever the circumstances this app is just short of useless as free. To get any useful functions at all there is a weekly price. Yes weekly. Regardless of when you pay , and it’s fairly steep. For me it is out of my budget.   Perhaps if you have no bills or very few it won’t seem that expensive.    I guess it’s how desperate to make new friends in a new situation are you ?    Desperate enough to fork over about $20 a week ?  Then this might be your app.

The best bees thing is kind of terrible. It’s now just showing me the people that are the least compatible in all ways. Lol I’m not sure how this thing gauges who it thinks we would be compatible with, because it apparently has NO idea what I’m physically or mentally looking for, despite using the app for a few months now. 
As far as the people on here, like all dating apps, the women and non binary people are all beautiful, but the guys look like either the kind that have completely stopped caring about their appearance and hygiene, or the kind that take more selfies in a day than I do in a month.

The management engages in illegal systemic and sexual harassment.  Use of it is a contribution to criminal rape of children.

I just think bumble has to do a better job of verifying people… especially lately you’ll see profiles where there’s only one or two pictures almost nothing written on the profile- but it looks real and there’s nothing offensive, but
after one or two messages, you realize it’s  a fake profile or a scam -they want to talk on WhatsApp, and move way too fast and act like they’re already in love—

There’s gotta be a way to ask more information when someone signs up on this, think quality not quantity Bumble

1 month for $59.99?! This used to be $39. Plus, you can’t pay monthly and have to pay all of it up front. Absolutely ridiculous. These apps are the reason why people can’t find love and quality matches. Throw away the app.

i was on here almost a month and had zero matches but quite a few people who liked me that i couldn’t see and wasn’t paying to see.i tried speed dating 2 weeks in a row and was only matched with 1 person close by,the rest were in a different city 30 minutes and further away.random women would message me then as soon as i would respond back they’d ghost me and sometimes their location would even change to mine,then i’d never hear from them again.it’s a boring useless app,DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME

Took me a second to catch on. But yeah this app is a scam, maybe at one point it was not but I can assure this app is a scam. I’ll explain. 
I’m a fairly attractive guy never had any issues with the opposite sex. But I’ll get straight to the point. Initially what they do is get fake accounts to like your profile. But I’m order to match you have like theirs as well or pay, however bumble has no intentions of showing you these fake accounts. They’re there so you’re forced to pay to see them. They are not real people. They will never message you and will simply let the time expire I’ve had at least 6 of these that just let the time expire. That isn’t normal. And again they will never appear on the list. The other thing I suspect is that they will also put your profile way to the back of the list so no one ever gets to it. I believe there’s probably s small number of profiles that are at the top and the rest and hidden away  and women would have to swipe thousands of times to get to you which is not going to happen. The ratio of men to women is incredibly lob sided so we have a surplus of men so no matter what there’s a big chance your profile is on the back of the list on the algorithm and no one is going to see it. I believe this is by design it’s pretty sad. 
Now bumble is going to reply with their AI that they’re “sorry I had a bad experience” they’re going to pass my complaint to the bumble “team” look fellas, stay safe. This app is the biggest predator here.

They all start with “hey” and expect you to carry the conversation. What a shift in dating dynamics, bravo.
