Millions of people have signed up for Bumble to start building valuable relationships, finding friends, and making empowered connections. And now, we’ve been named one of Apple’s 2021 Apps of the Year for connection. Creating new connections has never been easier. Bumble is working to lift the stigma of online dating by employing unprecedented standards for respectful behavior. Because of this relentless dedication, millions of people are using Bumble to build valuable relationships every single day. DATING, FRIENDS & NETWORKING Bumble is at the forefront of matchmaking technology by providing an app that allows users to foster more than just romantic connections. The industry-leading app empowers users to swipe through potential connections across three different modes: - Bumble Date: On Bumble Date, women make the first move. We’ve changed the archaic rules of the dating game so that you can form meaningful relationships in a respectful way. - Bumble BFF: Life is better with friends. Whether you’re new to a city or looking to expand your circle, Bumble BFF is the easiest way to make new friends. - Bumble Bizz: Now we’re in business. Use Bumble Bizz to network, find mentors, and create new career opportunities. Bumble is the first app of its kind to bring dating, friend-finding, and career-building into a single social networking platform. CHANGING THE RULES OF THE GAME At Bumble, women make the first move. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same-sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move, while the other individual has 24 hours to respond, or else, the connection expires. By prompting our users to be bold and make the first move we’ve seen over 3 billion messages sent to date. THE BUZZ IS REAL “Bumble exists to empower women...” (Fast Company) “Bumble is just an app: but it’s changing the discussion.” (Wired) “Bumble offers an alternative that prioritises meaningful connections, with women calling the shots:” (UK Sunday Times) “Bumble rejects hate speech to make users feel safe on its dating app” (Texas Standard) “What makes Bumble different from other dating apps...is its focus on giving women all the power. ” (Business Insider) --- Bumble is free to download and use. However, we also offer optional subscription packages (Bumble Premium and Bumble Boost) and single or multiple-use paid services for which no subscription is required (including Spotlights and SuperSwipes). • App Doesn’t Empower Women As Hoped

    By gracedanceca
Don’t be misled by my title. It isn’t the apps fault (not…totally) that we are still plagued by inequality as strong women with certain standards. I have gotten off this app, yes, SEVERAL times because I either get few conversations-if any at all-if I draw boundaries clearly or I get sexual coercion, violation and manipulation. It’s one or the other, silence or violation.
I am on again and this time decided to just accept I will have very few actual real conversations with men and should just use bff mode for friends and focus on it, much like life. I’m in California, in The Bay Area, and I’m sad to report that even an app meant to be for women to have safe dating will still come against the realities of our inequality and objectification.
Thanks for doing what you can Bumble. I know it’s not your fault, entirely. But the three stars are for not screening the men more for our safety. Believe me, most of us modern ladies would rather be alone and use your bff mode than have these awful and illegal experiences which take days to recover from. And please…do me a favor and don’t respond by telling me how to report these guys. I know how to report people and this just gets tiring too. I wish you would see how inequality still reigns and do more to protect us like screening the guys that are there to troll and control. That would feel safer, I would swipe right more, I’d actually pay for a subscription. Under current circumstances my conscience would never let me pay for an environment that doesn’t take stats and the culture realities into account while claiming to have our safety and equality as top priority.
I’ll know by your response if you read this in detail.
  • Does not allow shirtless pictures

    By Raayann
I added a picture wearing basketball length gym shorts at gym and app did not allow me to upload. I see most women wearing outfits which are more revealing than me. What’s the point of working out so hard at gym when you can’t put a shirtless picture? App is promoting culture where fake people add pictures in fancy suits and real people working hard on their physique are blocked. I don’t recommend this app to any real people who work hard. THIS IS FAKERS APP

  • Found my forever

    By jimbos the man
I was on bumble a few times and gave it one more shot. That was when I met the women who would become my wife three years later. I would never have found her without bumble. I'm very glad I gave it one last shot. Thank you bumble for allowing me to find the one. The way bumble works makes it easy for us men to connect with women. I love letting then make the first move.
  • Useless waste of time

    By Cakedud
Just catfishes and no one interacts, tried buying 2 weeks of the “premium” and nothing changed total rip off
  • Most women don’t message first!

    By LemonFuzzies
Most people assume this app is basically tinder and don’t know how it works. If you match with someone that doesn’t know they have to message first, then you never talk. 🤷
