Overall great app, just needs split screen mode so I can use it in conjunction with other apps (like calculator, banking apps, ect)
I wanted to love this app. I’ve learned so much from Dave Ramsey and this app is set up exactly how I want to do my budget. But for how much I’m shelling out for it every year, I’d expect a lot better. Especially from Dave Ramsey who teaches us to use our money wisely!! Honestly, if this were a $2.99 app, I’d give it 5 stars in a heartbeat. But it is way overpriced for the amount of glitches it has. I’ve used it for two years now, but I won’t be renewing my subscription. First of all, thumbprint ID. Why isn’t it utilized here? Having to login multiple times is a pain. Again. Free app? Sure, I’ll enter my login. $120? How about a thumbprint ID. Secondly, it can’t even access my main bank. Granted, it’s a small(ish) regional credit union but it worked when I first got the app. Then it stopped. Then it worked for awhile. Then it stopped. And Every Dollar gives me no indication of what the problem is. It just says “the account is having a temporary connection problem.” After many weeks of said “connection problem” I contacted the help desk. That’s when they told me that my bank isn’t authorizing their software and to contact my credit union. Buuuut…why did it work before? And why do other programs seem to be able to access my bank? So many questions…. And finally, it downloads multiples of a single transaction. I’ve had it show the same transaction up to three times. It about gave me a heart attack. I had to log into my credit card app to make sure I wasn’t charged that many times. Now that I know that it does that, I don’t get so worked up. I’ve even come to expect it. But c’mon, Dave! Quality control. It seems like a let down from a stellar company. I gave it two stars because it has such potential. (Wistfully looking off into the horizon)
I started with the free version but it did not take long for me to see it was worth it to have the paid version so I did not have to enter each transaction from my bank. Now I don’t worry about transactions getting missed.
Love the app, it just seems to always have bugs/issues. It signs me out of the app and out of my accounts. Please fix because this is the best app I’ve been able to find!
Pull to refresh is slow to work, also feed data should update more real time without manual pull to refresh. In the morning, it says the data is 12 hours old.
I have the paid version and it used to be great. But for the last six months or so the interface has developed severe lag. I have to tap three or four times before it responds. I keep it updated and I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled but the problem persists. They also weren’t able to figure out how to keep my target card connected after target added multi factor authentication and that’s a huge nuisance. It’s very hard to remember to log sty manually when everything else is automated. Im looking for a different company/app.
I love using this, as I struggle to keep track of finances. However, anytime I need to track something, I’m a gas station or grocery store and the app logs me out and won’t let me back in till I’m home and connected to my wifi. If I don’t track it right away I’ll forget to later(ADHD) so this app doesn’t work for me the way I want it too
Please consider making the app more hourly wage friendly. Thanks and love y’all!
I love the Free Version of this app and have completed all the Baby Steps so I thought I could justify spending the 130 dollars to streamline my purchase tracking. The frustration is not worth it. At least every week, lately every day, I am asked to deactivate my connection to my bank accounts and reactivate them. Because of these gaps in activation and deactivation I am missing purchases. So now I have paid 130 to do double the work.
The app shows a single credit card transaction twice. It aggregates transactions from April in the May summary, apparently based on the day I assigned them a category. That makes it hard to look at things on a monthly basis. It also uncategorized nearly a full month of transactions that I had assigned one by one. Do I waste more time recategorizing them?
