Download FAX from iPhone - send fax 1.7.1 for iPhone/iPad by Municorn directly from Apple Appstore. This app version requires iOS 4+ to be able to install and run.
I only purchased this app to send a single fax to a insurance company. This was a larger document >20 pages and the app would just spit out a error that the fax could not be created. I reached out to the support team and they informed me there is a 20 page limit to the faxes. I did not see this anywhere in the documentation.
While it works. Don’t let the user input all their information, add all the documents, AND THEN prompt for payment. Super terrible user experience. Save the customer time by prompting that before they start everything. Trash
It costs $10 a week and you aren’t informed u til after you have scanned. Bummer
As I walk into Office Depot to see a line for faxing my document, I researched on my IPhone that I can fax!!!!! Wow, love it:)
Two stars only because of the below reasoning: When you need to send a copy of your ID via fax, it’s not in color, it’s like a black and white thin drawing that you can barely make out of the person’s identity...
So, once upon a time this app used to be a “pay as you go” app. You bought credits and sent faxes as needed. When I went to reload credits this time, I only had 1 option. The dreaded hook-digging “subscription service.” I send maybe 1-2 faxes every 2 years (if that), so a monthly fee for faxing nothing is absolutely ludicrous. I completely understand that every single software driven model these days has turned into a revolving door of subscriber services. Having a healthy ARR/MRR is great for raising private equity capital (this company isn’t traded publicly). But for faxes? Come on! Apps like these should still continue to offer folks one-time fax credits, because people rarely need fax machines these days, and the app would provide value to a customer’s experience when this type of app is needed. To the developers/owners of this app, please consider rolling out a graduated pricing scale for “pay as you go” customers. Set a minimum credit purchase, charge a bit more per page, offer break points (discounts) if you purchase more credits up front, and still hold onto the subscription based service for heavy users. You could have the best of both worlds, and an additional revenue stream to boot. Imagine that!
I used this app ONCE only, to send a fax from my phone in an emergency. I thought I was paying for a whole week membership bcs they don’t have per-use option, but it turns out I had been automatically subscribed for a weekly subscription and I was charged $9.99 every week for a month. I don’t use Apple store at all and so never noticed this till I had to check something else and saw all those charges week after week for months! They refuse to refund me, say it all says in terms in conditions. Stopping the subscription was super convoluted. Unless this is something you need a lot, do not fall into the subscription trap. It’s a scam
Liar wrote app description, NOT FREE, it’s a subscription Once you download app and try to send fax it asks for money
Feels very deceptive to let me setup my entire document and then ask $10 for just a week… don’t waste your money.
I’d rather just go buy one. It’ll last me over a year and save me hundreds over using this app
